Music:

This is me playing my 1989 Washburn WP50. I couldn't find any videos of anyone playing one, so here you are. I love this guitar. It was the first one I modded. I installed some Seymour Duncan - Seth Lover 50th anniversary alnico 2 pickups and an RS wiring kit.

I wrote "So Long Ago" on June 15th, 2006. I sang and played a Martin SWOM on both tracks. I used a Behringer condensor mike to record the vocals and guitar. I am not usually good with lyrics, these just came out of nowhere. I wish that would happen more often.

Thanks for dropping by, enjoy the music for what it is worth :)

Into the night Link
by Paul Klinger

"Into the night" is a rock instrumental I recorded using a modified Gibson Les Paul Studio Vintage Mahogany. It has an RS guitarworks tone kit and two seymour duncan phat cats in it. It is the first guitar you will hear in the mix. The second guitar is a Stock Gibson SG 1961 reissue. The bass I used was an Epiphone EBO, all were played through behringer v-amps, the v-amp2 for guitars, and bass v-amp. I looped the drums using acid pro 4.

Believe it, or not, this is my recording studio.

Cold Day in Hell Link
Interpreted by Paul Klinger

This is a cover of Gary Moore's "Cold Day in Hell. I used a backing track I found on the internet to record my lead guitar over. I used a modified Washburn WP-50 Les Paul copy on this one. I modified the guitar by installing some 50th anniversay Set Lover Seymore Duncans and I finished installing the guts from my Les Paul Studio into the guitar to give it that classic Gibson tone. What more can I say, tons of fun to play along to this one.

Homesick Texan Blues Link
by Paul Klinger &Skip Moore

Skip Moore, a guitar slinger from Houston Texas put the music bed up for grabs a few years back and I jumped all over this one. When I got it, it was just two guitars and one drum loop all the way through. I added bass (Epiphone EBO) and Lead guitar you hear in the center of the mix. I also added drum fills and cymbal crashes as well as the horn section (all loops). This song went all the way to number one on AP and held there for quite a while. Not an easy feat for a blues tune there.

Again tons of fun playing on this one, the guitar I played on this is my Washburn WP-50 before I modified it. .

This one is will be going on the best of AE CD we have in the works. I will put a link up as soon as the CD becomes available.

Sweet Child of Mine Link
by guns and roses covered by Paul Klinger

I found a cool backing track of the guns and roses classic and played guitar over it. I used my Washburn wp50 with an RS 50's historic wiring kit and Seth Lover 50th anniversary PAFs.
